According to reports, DSS agents and Nigerian Army personnel worked together to carry out the arrest.
Bodejo’s arrest is thought to have occurred as a result of the recent formation of a vigilante organization in Nasarawa State. According to reports, the security personnel departed the area following Bodejo’s apprehension.
The arrest was motivated by worries about possible violence across the nation because the vigilante group was not officially recognized by the federal government and was not registered with the police, DSS, or any other security agency. Citing the possibility of instability in the nation, the source underlined the necessity of addressing the vigilante organization led by the nomads that is not registered.
