Jubilation as Governor Sani grants scholarship to 137 school students and some funds to Head Teacher.

On Thursday, March 28, Governor Sani made a commitment to rebuild the LEA Primary and Government Secondary School in Kuriga, following the recent kidnapping incident. Additionally, he pledged to provide other essential infrastructure in the community to ensure the residents can go about their daily lives without fear.

Addressing the children at the state house before their departure to Kuriga, the governor reassured them that the kidnapping incident would not hinder their education. He emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents in Kuriga.

Furthermore, Governor Sani announced a N10 million donation to the family of the head teacher, Abubakar Isah, who tragically passed away in captivity. He also offered scholarships to the head teacher’s children up to the university level, as reported by The Punch.

Expressing condolences for the loss of Mallam Abubakar, Governor Sani highlighted his contributions to the school and the community. He emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting the children of Mallam Abubakar through school and providing financial assistance to his family to ease their burden during this difficult time.

The governor concluded by expressing gratitude for the safe return of all the kidnapped children and reiterated the government’s dedication to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens in Kaduna State.
