Forum Overview
Organized by the Canadian Center for Cultural Diplomacy (CCCD) in partnership with regional and international stakeholders, the Canada International Forum in Digital Soft Power explores the theme:
“Digital Soft Power and Cultural Diplomacy in the Age of Algorithms.”
This high-level, interdisciplinary platform brings together policymakers, scholars, digital strategists, cultural practitioners, and thought leaders to critically engage with the intersections of technology, culture, and diplomacy.
The forum encourages collaborative dialogue on the ethical, strategic, and geopolitical dimensions of digital influence and seeks innovative approaches to promote intercultural understanding and a more inclusive, dialogue-driven global order.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Canada International Forum in Digital Soft Power, applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old (no upper age limit – both emerging and experienced professionals are welcome).
- Be studying or working in any of the following or related fields:
- International Relations
- Communication
- Cultural Studies
- Diplomacy
- Technology
- Social Sciences
- Media
- Arts
- Have experience or interest in:
- Digital platforms
- Public diplomacy
- Cross-cultural initiatives
- Be able to communicate in English at a conversational level
- Demonstrate genuine interest in topics such as:
