President Bola Tinubu has been urged to order the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPOB, by Yoruba nation activist Sunday Adeyemo, also referred to as Igboho.
Additionally, Igboho pleaded with the Tinubu-led Federal Government to drop the treasonous charges that were brought against Kanu. Igboho stated in a Monday-released video that Kanu will be able to take care of his deteriorating health after being released.
The freedom fighter emphasized that, like himself, the IPOB leader is an agitator fighting for the Southeast’s interests, as he is for the Southwest’s. “Please release Nnamdi Kanu, stop politics,” Igboho uttered.
This man did not take any action. It is February 26, 2024, today. Let him go, free him, so he can remain with his family. Let him go; this man is merely defending his people in the South East, just as I am defending my people in Yorubaland. Let Kanu go. Please let him go.
