There were reportedly ten or so people on board the private jet, most of whom being VIPs.
The aircraft made a crash landing at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan on Friday morning, according to a source who spoke with Channels.
The aircraft, bearing the registration number N580KR, veered into the adjacent shrubbery instead of the runway.
“It was an Abuja-based private aircraft. Although it overshot the runway, it landed safely.
There were no casualties, Carol Adekotujo, a spokesman for the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), told Channels.
