The College Registrar, Mr. Pat Aneke, informed the impacted staff members of the development on Tuesday. According to a meeting source, the termination was due to purported irregularities in the three-year employment of the workers. Speaking anonymously, one of the employees claimed that tension had been felt throughout the organization and that the development coincided with the nation’s current state of hardship.

We learned today, Tuesday, that a government implementation committee is implementing the recommendations made by an earlier-formed investigative committee. They claimed that 95 employees, both academic and non-academic, hired in 2021, had been fired as a result of this action.

“The management stated that the impacted employees will have access to the letters today, Wednesday.”Many were shocked to hear it, and some even passed out when they learned.

Tension permeates the entire college. The employee, who remained anonymous, said they were being owed several months’ worth of salary areas and described the development as heartbreaking. “During this entire period, we have been compelled to shoulder the majority of unpaid salaries in a nation torn apart by economic unrest and hyperinflation, where every nigara matters.” “Now that our employment has been with them for three years, they want to fire us; the injustice is overwhelming.

“Consider the anguish of individuals who have devotedly supported their establishment, giving up their time, effort, and proficiency, just to encounter this unfairness,” he bemoaned. One of the impacted employees has pleaded with Governor Peter Mbah to assist them in the interim.

“We are mothers, fathers, breadwinners, whose livelihoods have been snatched away,” he told our correspondent. We are requesting that the government reverse this choice. We are pleading with Governor Peter Mbah to take the nation’s economic circumstances into account and put an end to the implementation committee’s action.
