More than 600 Students Enroll At Maduka University Enugu

Fortheacademicyear2023–2024,MadukaUniversityEnuguhasenrolledarecord-breaking600students. Thisachievementisunprecedentedforarecentlyestablishedprivateuniversityinthenation.

TheuniversitywelcomedthenewestmembersofitsacademiccommunityonFriday,andtheoccasionwasmarkedbyafestiveandupbeatatmosphere. Duringtheceremony,MadukaUniversity’sChancellor,Dr.SamMadukaOnyishi,addressedtheincomingstudentsandemphasizedtheuniversity’sdedicationtodevelopingthenextgenerationofleaders.

Onyishirestatedtheuniversity’sobjectivetoofferastimulatingeducationalsettingthatencouragesstudents’creativity,criticalthinking,andentrepreneurialabilities.

“ThegoalofMadukaUniversity’sfoundingwastoenableyoungNigerianstobecomeindependentandvaluablecontributorstosociety. “Wearecommittedtoprovidingourstudentswiththeresourcestheyrequiretothriveinaworldthatisconstantlychanging.”

Theuniversity’svicechancellor,Prof.CharlesOgbulogo,putMadukaUniversityinthecategoryofanentrepreneurialpowerhouse. Heemphasizedtheinstitution’scutting-edgefacilitiesandwiderangeofacademicprogramsthatareintendedtoproducesuccessful,well-roundedpeople. Stateddifferently,“MadukaUniversityisaforceinentrepreneurshipdedicatedtodevelopingthenextwaveofleaders.”

“Wearecommittedtomoldingwell-roundedandsuccessfulyoungpeoplewhowillhaveapositiveimpactonsocietythroughourdiversecurriculaandstate-of-the-artfacilities.” Aftertheceremony,eagernewstudentstalkedabouttheirgoalsandexcitementforthefuture.

ManyexpressedconfidencethattheirtimeatMadukaUniversitywouldequipthemwiththepracticalskillsnecessarytosucceedintheirchosenfields,inadditiontobeingintellectuallystimulating. Theuniversity’sadministrationhasannouncedthatadmissiontoalldepartmentsisstillavailableintheinterim.
