Ademola Oladimeji, a man who sexually assaulted his three children, was sentenced to life in prison. The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency, or DSVA, has celebrated this decision.
The agency posted a statement on Monday on its verified X handle, @LSdsva, praising Oladimeji’s conviction and sentence.
Oladimeji was given three consecutive life sentences on Monday by Judge Abiola Sholadoye of the Ikeja Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence Court, according to NAN.

In response, the DSVA declared that justice had been done.
It was mentioned that the case was reported to the agency by the children’s mother.
“The mother noticed that the children, who were five, seven, and nine years old, had complained about pain in their private areas, so she reported the issue to DSVA.”
After that, they were directed to Mirabel Center for a medical assessment. The medical report attested to the fact that each girl had experienced sexual assault.
It said, “We affirm Lagos State’s zero tolerance policy and insist that survivors receive assistance, while also praising the survivors’ families.”
The DSVA asserts that those who commit crimes will be held responsible for their deeds while the wheels of justice are spinning.
According to NAN, the three girls, their mother, and the investigating police officer made up the prosecution’s five witnesses.
The judge determined that the prosecution’s witnesses’ testimony was reliable, but the defendant’s attempt to refute the accusations did not support his testimony.
The judge ruled that the prosecution had proven beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant had committed the crime, and that the children had in fact been sexually attacked by penetration.
