Adedeji Aderemi, well known as Olofaina, was a seasoned Yoruba actor who passed away.
Olofaina, 74, passed away on Thursday.
The deceased, who was from Ede in Osun State, spent a long time residing in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
Olofaina starred in several epic Yoruba films, including Ayanmo, Bashorun Gaa, Afonja, and Ogbori Elemoso.
Lagbondoko and Balogun Ibikunle are the others. produced, among others, by Biodun Eleni-Latinwo.
Chief Musliu Dadofunjo, also known as Baba Jogunomi, a close friend of the actor, confirmed his passing on Thursday.
According to Dadofunjo, the deceased passed away on Thursday night.
“He died this evening,” he said. He used to live in Ibadan, but he later moved back to Ede, where he passed away at the age of 74.
He was promoted as Majeobaje of Ede from his previous position as the Solaloju of Ede.
