**Job Overview:**

We are in search of a seasoned Business Development Executive with a proven track record of surpassing sales targets to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in both retaining existing clients and acquiring new ones. Additionally, you should demonstrate the ability to mentor less-experienced team members and assist them in achieving their objectives. Effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are paramount for success in this role.

**Responsibilities:**

– Thorough understanding of the company’s suite of products and services.
– Cultivating relationships with current clients by providing insights into industry trends and suggesting new or upgraded solutions when appropriate.
– Networking to identify potential clients, fostering new connections, and converting them into satisfied customers.
– Developing opportunities and defining initial client value propositions, win plans, and opportunity strategies.
– Leading the targeting of unsolicited bids/proposals based on replicable successes to expedite the advancement of new opportunities.
– Demonstrating strong business acumen and applying a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business, organization, strategy, financial position, and business challenges.
– Crafting business proposals to secure deals and negotiating mutually beneficial arrangements with clients.
– Providing client feedback to the product team to enhance the company’s offerings.
– Training and mentoring junior members of the business development team.
– Maintaining a solid grasp of the marketplace, including trends and performance indicators.
– Delivering sales presentations, seminars, and consulting meetings with financial advisors and relevant personnel.
– Ensuring overall customer satisfaction, market share, profit, and revenue growth within the client base.
– Managing incoming sales inquiries generated through direct marketing, social media, and web campaigns.
– Keeping the Salesforce CRM system updated with all client communications.
– Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
– Flexibility to adapt to various work environments, including out-of-town travel and overtime as needed.

**Requirements:**

– Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum 2.1) in Marketing, Business, or related discipline preferred.
– At least 5 years of business development experience in a service industry (e.g., Accounting, Law, or Real Estate Firms).
– Proven track record of surpassing sales, client retention, and client acquisition targets.
– Advanced sales knowledge, including objection handling techniques.
– Understanding of human psychology in relation to sales.
– Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
– Resilience and persistence in pursuing objectives.
– Professional demeanor with a personable approach.
– Familiarity with industry trends and client challenges to develop and deliver compelling value propositions.
– Proficiency in sales processes and solution selling.

**Remuneration:**

Monthly gross salary ranging from N280,000 to N320,000, alongside additional benefits such as Pension, Group Life Insurance, and HMO coverage.
