The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chapter in Lagos State has urged government officials and security services to step in quickly to secure the release of Philip Aivoji, the party’s kidnapped chairman.

“Aivoji was abducted on Thursday, January 25 at about 6:00 pm on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway while returning from a stakeholders meeting in Oyo State convened by Gov. Seyi Makinde and Gov. Ademola Adeleke of Osun,” appealed Lagos State PDP Publicity Secretary Alhaji Hakeem Amode in a statement on Friday.

The fact that kidnapping has become a major problem in our nation is depressing, and it is extremely worrying that the government is unable to stop this threat.
