Barrister Chris Agidy was a Senior Legislative Aide (SLA) to Senator Ned Nwoko, a lawmaker from Delta North, who was abducted by bandits in 2023. This was confirmed on Tuesday by SP Josephine Adeh, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Remember that gunmen abducted at least 19 people in November 2023 from their homes in the nation’s capital’s Galadimawa neighborhood. It was previously reported that 12 of the kidnappees had died.
The legislator and security personnel were still working to save the attorney, so it was unclear who the deceased were. The FCT PPRO confirmed the death on Tuesday, stating that one of the infamous kidnappers who was threatening the nation’s capital city killed the legislator’s assistant.
