Following his elimination from the 66th Grammy Awards after receiving three nominations, Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is still vying for his first Grammy.

Best Global Music Performance, Best Global Music Album, and Best African Music Performance were the three categories in which Davido was nominated; however, he was defeated in all three on Sunday night.

Similarly, Burna Boy, Olamide, Ayra Starr, and Asake, the other four Nigerian artists nominated, did not win any awards at the presentation.
