Most Rev. Dr. Bulus Dauwa Yohanna, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Niger state chapter, has urged Christians and public officials to love others unconditionally and without expecting anything in return as Christians around the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

At the Christmas Mass performed at the Catholic Cathedral church of St. Michael, Kontagora, the Chairman, who is also the Bishop of Kontagora Diocese, stated that there isn’t genuine love among people during his sermon on the topic of genuine love (John chapter 1).

It is only sincere love that makes a true sacrifice that can benefit us as a people, he continued.

According to him “in the church today, even in the society and in government there is no genuine love, love is the basis for which we celebrate Christmas
