By offering the first free computer-based mock exam for the 2024 first-series West African Senior Secondary School Examination (WASSCE) for private applicants, the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has made a major advancement in the development of its examination procedure.
This development was reported by Moyosola Adesina, the Acting Head of Public Affairs at the WAEC national office located in Lagos.
This innovative mock exam is slated for January 23–24 and is intended to get participants ready for the real exam. As to Adesina, candidates can utilize their personal computers or mobile phones to access the mock examination portal at mockcbt.waec.org.ng. Throughout the two days, candidates will have access to the mock examination portal, and if their first attempt fails, they can try again.
According to Adesina, “As soon as registration closes, information containing login details of registered candidates will be sent to their respective phone numbers and email addresses.” Additionally, a link to the video tutorial explaining how to utilize the examination site will be posted on all of our social media channels.
The press release underlined that WAEC hopes all applicants have a great exam experience and success.
