Shettima Promises Super Eagles Government Reward

The Super Eagles will receive recognition from the Federal Government for their devotion and hard work, according to Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima.
Following the Super Eagles’ victory over the South African Bafana Bafana in the semifinals, this statement was made.

This was revealed by the Super Eagles on Thursday with a statement and pictures posted on their official X Twitter.
“The Federal Government has promised to reward the Super Eagles for their commitment and dedication in reaching the Africa Cup of Nations final in Cote d’Ivore,” the statement stated.

Vice President Kashim Shettima expressed the pride of the Nigerian government and people in their hard-earned victory over South Africa in the semi-finals on Wednesday, to the players and officials in the dressing room.

Governors Dapo Abiodun (Ogun) and Duoye Diri (Bayelsa), Minister for Youths Dr. Jamila Ibrahim, oil magnate Wale Tinubu, FIFA Council member Amaju Pinnick, and NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau were all present with the vice president.
