Mu’azu clarified that the command had located, apprehended, and prosecuted a few of the main dealers during the year in question.

He claimed that of the people detained, the command had succeeded in getting 192 drug cases at the Federal High Court of Dutse successfully prosecuted, with other cases still waiting.

According to the commandant, in addition to heavily raising public awareness of the risks associated with drug misuse, the command has also sent personnel to all state borders in an effort to reduce drug trafficking within the state.

He made a plea to the chairs of the local governments to work with the agency and set up offices so that staff could be sent to the local governments right away.

Mu’azu also expressed gratitude to the Jigawa State Government for all of its assistance and collaboration with the command.

He asked Jigawa locals to provide the agency with any pertinent information that could result in the drug lords’ apprehension.
