Job Title: Drilling Engineer

Location: Nigeria
Job Type: Permanent

Job Description   

  • Prepare wells data sheet and carry out wells offset reviews.
  • Carry out wells detailed design including casing design, mud engineering, hydraulics modelling.
  • Write all wells Basis of Design documents ensuring compliance to all Company policies.
  • Prepare wells detailed drilling procedures.
  • Develop wells AFEs and Support the upkeep of the wellcost estimating and tracking system.
  • Liaise with specialist contractors and suppliers, such as cement companies or suppliers of drilling fluids.
  • Prepare an End of Well report for all assigned wells.
  • Identify and evaluate appropriate offset wells.
  • Monitor well costs daily. Prepare and update depth vs days and depth vs cost curves.
  • Ensure final well costs in Company Wells Reporting database such as Open Wells
  • Attend rig calls. Provides technical support on daily drilling operations.
  • Provide fulltime engineering support to assigned drilling rig(s). Monitor daily morning report and facilitate data error corrections and coding.
  • Know and follow the Global Drilling Community Standards and SOP’s.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Well Engineering with an Operator.
  • Good knowledge in the use of industry-recognized Well Engineering software such as Wellcalt, Stress Check, Drilling Office, Well Plan, Compass
  • Must be able work in a multicultural environment.
  • Willing to travel to the rig location to observe operations on an as-needed basis.

Job Title: Legal Counsel

Location: Nigeria

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Job Purpose

  • Provide professional legal advisory and expertise on all legal matters across our different subsidiaries.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsible for legal advisory services that ensures both regulatory compliance and business continuity
  • Dealing with all legal matters including criminal, civil, police liaison, and arbitration matters. Drafting, vetting of criminal complaints, criminal writ Appeals, and well versed with court processes.
  • Anticipates and identifies legal issues and counsels junior officers and upper management in order to develop legal strategies and solutions, often in situations of great political, public relations, or financial risk or significance, and with limited time for assessing alternatives.
  • Drafting and vetting of various cross-border Agreements, Contracts and other documents.
  • Attending Court cases and assisting the counsel in drafting of Written Submissions & Petitions.
  • Prepare, review and modify legal documents/contractual instruments and MOUs/MOAs to assist and support various business activities/functional departments.
  • Negotiate, review and draft documentation for business transactions and prepare and advise on various aspects of laws to various functional departments.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the legal department for management meetings.
  • Responsible for litigation, legal notices, keep records of all licenses & compliances and all litigation matters.
  • Knowledge in legal aspects relating to various Laws including labour laws.
  • Manage all Montego external counsels, monitoring their performance and adherence to agreed SLAs.
  • Identify all commercial/business development/transactions risks and provide the mitigation plans options
  • Responsible for the implementation of the Quality Management System for continuous improvement and satisfaction of applicable regulatory and customer requirements.

Requisite Qualification and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Law
  • Must have at least 5 years work experience in a similar function, with a total minimum of 10 – 15 years legal experience.

  • Capture project-specific data and ensure quality and accuracy.

  • Excellent attitude, Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of MS Office, Tech Savvy.

Job Title: Subsea Mechanical and Structural Engineer

Mission

  • Perform all the assigned Subsea Mechanical and Structural technical activities within a project assuring also interfaces with the other people involved in the project for the area of competence.

Tasks

  • Cooperate in the preparation of specifications for subsea electrical chain components installation, test and maintenance.
  • Prepare and issue the final updating of the technical documents for material purchasing.
  • Prepare evaluation notes relevant to technical proposals received by suppliers.
  • Prepare evaluation reports relevant to tests performed by suppliers both during qualification or construction phases.
  • Assist the subsea engineering leader or the project engineering manager for solving technical problems arising during project development and for interfacing/supporting the Saipem procurement department.
  • Prepare the section of competence of the final reports.
  • Support the subsea engineering leader for the preparation of project schedules and manhours evaluation.

Job Title: Field Instrumentation, Automation and Telecom Lead

Location: Nigeria
Contract Duration: 12 months extendible
Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 10 hours per day, 240 hours per month
Rotation: Every month or every other month: Around 4 rotations per year

Key Responsibilities

  • Correctly understand the Process & Instrument Diagrams.
  • Operate on the instrumentation software packages to manage database (SPI and/or AVEVA) and/or on 3D modeling (SP3D e/o PDMS), coordinated by a more experienced resource.
