We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Field Operator II

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contracts

Main Functions

  • Operate equipment and wells by applying operating and safety procedures and guidelines to meet daily operational plan, reduce equipment failure and efficient resources administration

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible to implement on daily work objectives, housekeeping, safety, health, environmental and security
  • Active participation on daily toolbox meetings and regular, reported safety meetings
  • Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions by the continuous surveillance of wells and equipment to ensure reliable, efficient and safe operational conditions
  • Function as Equipment Care Technician, and routinely use Maintenance skills in performing simple maintenance activities
  • Report when the alarm, emergency or emergency shutdown system is out of service
  • Provide detailed, clear and accurate information when changing shift, to guarantee that unit conditions are updated and ensure operations continuity
  • Coordinate, control and monitor maintenance jobs according with the corrective, predictive and preventive planning
  • Report continuously in the log book all relevant operational events and abnormal situations or deviation occurred in the work area, equipment or personnel
  • Take samples of products for laboratory analysis and execute field laboratory tests
  • Active participation on emergency response activities
  • Report incidents internally and escalate awareness as per the Incident Reporting Guidelines
  • Ensure that Operations Shift Supervisor is informed and consulted about operations activities
  • Ensure good  communication across the work team so that issues / actions can be adequately addressed
  • Provide the basic facts concerning well producing problems, current production rates, and current condition of the well
  • Ensure that the well problem diagnostics are thorough and complete before requesting Well Work intervention operations
  • Ensure that the wellhead and well surface equipment are maintained and are in good working order prior to Wellwork operations taking over responsibility for the well for intervention operations
  • Provide assistance and support to the ongoing Wellwork operations as needed

Job Requirements

  • Completed Secondary  Education and worked previously as a Field Technician.
  • Strong  communications (oral & written)
  • High standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others.
  • Strong knowledge of pipeline operations
  • Strong knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processes
  • Broad knowledge of Emergency Preparedness Procedures
  • Strong knowledge of Project Philosophy and Design Specifications
  • Knowledgeable of relevant regulations
  • Knowledgeable of relevant commercial agreements.

Job Title: Process Engineer I

Location: Nigeria

Main Functions

  • Participate in the development of basic process design specifications or provide oversight of an engineering contractor’s technical deliverables during the front end design / detailed engineering phases of projects.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Perform process optimization studies to identify / evaluate capital / operating cost savings, process configuration alternatives, safety facilities requirements, etc.
  • Provide technical oversight for engineering contractor’s work during front end engineering & design / detailed engineering to ensure consistency with Company methods & guidelines, project specifications & owner’s requirements
  • Participate in Hazard & Operability Reviews for new / modified facilities / in support of existing plant facilities

  • Experience in petroleum refining/chemical process industry / with an engineering contractor serving these industries
  • Capital project development experience
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business  communications.

Job Title: Materials Management Advisor III

 

Location: Nigeria

Employment Type: Contracts

 

Main Functions

 

The Materials Management Engineer (MME) supports or leads the implementation of project materials purchasing and management.

This may include maintaining responsibility and/or oversight for planning materials management strategies, purchasing, expediting, inspection, logistics, customs, as well as overseeing field materials management (transport, receipt, storage, maintenance, allocation, issuing, and scrap/surplus disposal) when assigned to a fabrication yard or construction site.

Tasks and Responsibilities

 

In addition to all of the Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, Level 3:

Advocates capital efficiency in implementation and execution of activities applying established best practices as appropriate

Oversight of activities transition from engineering office to construction location

Ensures execution of Field Materials Management in accordance with the Project Plans (Materials Management Plan, and Logistics Plan)

Oversees movement of materials from delivery to marshaling yard / Site Storage / Site Laydown

Ensures appropriate receipt, storage, preservation, inventory control, allocation, preservation, issuance, and surplus/scrap disposal processes

Oversees coordination of supplier Technical Service Representatives during installation and commissioning

Coordinates and oversees heavy modules transportation planning and execution, consulting with Construction Logistics personnel as necessary

Assists in development of close out plans and reporting.

Requirements

 

BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or Supply Chain Management preferred

Experience in Materials Management preferred

Broad understanding of project execution and materials management principles, theories, and concepts

Willing to business travel or relocate to project sites (domestic / overseas)

Owner/Operator experience in project management roles preferred.

Job Title: Contracts Administrator III

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contracts

Main Functions

  • Ensure Contractors work in accordance with contract terms and conditions. Ensure timely placement of Purchase Orders that support contract services for production work in compliance with corporate controls and best practices.
  • Track progress, and support Supervisors with coordinating Contractor’s compliance regarding company systems and controls. Oversee the administration and performance of service contracts.
  • Ensure contract payments are executed accurately and anomalies are identified. Ensure payments are made to Contractors in accordance with requirements of Company agreements held with Contracts in a timely manner.
  • Advise on contract risks and support the stewardship of gap closure and opportunities for improvement, assisting with prioritization where required

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in pre-qualification and contractor selection
  • Liaise with Procurement to ensure required Contract Documents are in place
  • Participate in contract handover between Procurement and Business Line
  • Initiate and Facilitate contract kick-off meeting with Contractor
  •  Communicate with Contractor to develop a joint Interface Management Plan
  • Engage in contract life cycle and overseeing the entire contract portfolio for each business line/function
  • Responsible for stewarding contractor interface activities throughout contract life cycle
  • Participate in service planning and develop contract strategy
  • Act as a liaison and coordinator among Procurement, SSH&E and Operations within the business line
  • Establish and maintain the Active Contractor Tracking Database
  • Monthly KPI reporting (e.g., Contract Stewardship, Man hour reporting, etc.)
  • Link to other business lines to share best practice
  • Coordinate and conduct Contractors Site Assessment
  • Coordinate review contractor crew competency
  • Organize and coordinate Contractor Performance Assessments (Reporting Quarterly interface, A&D compliance, Contractor compliance check and Annual Performance Scorecard)
  • Report Contractor performance to OIMS 8-1 System Owner and Administrator
  • Coordinate and facilitate Level 2 and 3 quarterly, annual performance review/feedback meetings
  • Liaise with SSH&E Team to schedule Level 4 SSHE Sharing Meeting
  • Assist with coordinate Level 5 Annual Contractor Safety Forum
  • Assist Contract Owner in performing suspension and/or termination to contracts
  • Initiate and ensure contract completion and close out with contractor

Job Requirements

  • Experience with Contract administration, with service-contractor environments preferred.
  • Experience within a large corporation or complex organizational setting.
  • Experience and confidence working in field or industrial environments, including remote locations.
  • Experience working with developing businesses, and also Landowner Companies (LANCO’s).
  • Experience in engaging with contractors, in a developing country environment.
  • Highest standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others
  • Understanding of Procurement roles, responsibilities and business processes as they relate to contracts
