‘Unavailable’ by Davido is among Rolling Stone’s top 10 Afropop tracks for 2023.The fourth album ‘Timeless’ by Nigerian megastar Davido received widespread commercial success in 2023, making it a landmark year for him.

An additional testament to the phenomenal global popularity of his single “Unavailable,” which featured Musa Keys, is the fact that Rolling Stone’s Staff listed it among the best 10 Afropop songs of 2023.

The mega hit song, “Water,” by South African sensation Tyla, came in at number two on the chart.

Davido is not the only Nigerian on the list; at number seven on the list is Victor Thompson’s popular gospel song “Blessing(This Year)” remix starring Gunna was raked No.7

Other songs on the list are “Yahyuppiyah” by Uncle Waffle, “Terminator” by King Promise, and “Mnike” by Tyler ICU.

One of Davido’s smash songs from his record-breaking “Timeless” album is “Unavailable.” The album also produced the big singles “Feel,” “No Competition” with Asake, and “Kante” with Fave.

The fact that Davido came in second on Rolling Stone’s list despite being “unavailable” is just more evidence of his incredible year. Davido was named as the number one artist on Pulse Nigeria’s list of the country’s ten hottest artists of 2023, while “Timeless” made it into Billboard’s Top 50 albums of 2023. It was also ranked as the top album of 2023.

Davido is expecting to win his first Grammy Award on February 5, 2023, since his song “Unavailable” is nominated for Best African Music Performance and his song “Feel”.
