Massive Recruitment at Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital (NDUTH); Apply Now Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital (NDUTH) – The hospital was established in 1982 as a field hospital located in Okolobiri, a community of Gbarain-Ekpetiama in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of the Bayelsa State, then upgraded to teaching hospital status in September 2007, under the States Development Program. The upgrade was implemented by the military administrator, Group Captain Phillip Ayeni in 1996. With the establishment of the Niger Delta University and the College of Health Sciences in Bayelsa State, there was an urgent need to train medical students, intern officers, nurses and students of other paramedical disciplines.

The Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital (NDUTH) is the only tertiary teaching hospital in Bayelsa State, in the heart of the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. We provide tertiary health services, train health professionals and conduct health research for the benefit of humanity. Our vision is to provide excellent healthcare in accordance with international best practices in an environment conducive to the training of highly qualified healthcare professionals as well as the conduct of productive healthcare research for the benefit of humanity by collaboration with other bodies – institutions.
