Job Title: Information Technology Manager

Summary / Objective

  • This is a management-level position responsible for analysing and directing all IT related activities of the organization with supervisory responsibilities for all staff assigned to the IT activities.
  • This position is accountable for ensuring continuity of computer and other devices services for computer users throughout the organization through planning, technical leadership, and project coordination.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure that all antivirus, software updates, UPS run-time tests are up-to-date.
  • Verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  • Consults with software programmers for troubleshooting database and configuration issues.
  • Perform all supervisory responsibilities associated with the IT department including employee related issues.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures as a member of management for all employees.
  • Present a professional image as a representative of the company.
  • Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with co-workers, and every level of management.
  • Determine the goals of IT within broad outlines provided by the executive management and contribute to the continuity of computer services by providing necessary technical leadership and project coordination.
  • Forecast costs, equipment and personnel needs for projects and programs as required and related to MIS operations.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in MIS technology and remain highly technically competent at all levels of data processing while striving for enhanced user productivity through implementation of new software technology where applicable, and the implementation of policies that more effectively utilize MIS resources.
  • Prepare long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, and acquisition of the resources needed to support them.
  • Assure responsiveness of long-range plans to corporate objectives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and equipment suppliers.
  • Directs education programs for her/his staff.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification.

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones (including PABX), photocopiers, filing cabinets, CCTV, servers etc.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:

  • This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. When necessary, there will be a night shift which will start 7:00pm to 5:00 am from Monday to Friday.

Job Title: Company Secretary / Head of Legal

Location: Nigeria
Report To: Finance Director

Role Objectives

  • To give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.) and ensure compliance of the provisions of Companies Law and rules made there-under, other statutes and bye-laws of the company.

Essential Duties
Company Secretarial Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that business of the company is conducted in accordance with its objectives contained in its memorandum of association
  • Ensure affairs of the company are managed in accordance with its objectives contained in the articles of association and the provisions of the Company’s Law
  • Prepares the agenda in consultation with the Chairman and the management of the Company and the other documents for all the meetings of the board of directors
  • Arrange, call and hold meetings of the board and prepare accurate record of proceedings
  • Attend board meetings in order to ensure that the legal requirements are fulfilled
  • Collaborate with the Chairman and prepare the agenda and other documents for the general meetings
  • Perform all matters concerned with the allotment of shares, and issuance of share certificates including maintenance of statutory Share Register and conducting the appropriate activities connected with share transfers
  • Prepare, approve, sign and seal agreements leases, legal forms, and other official documents on the company’s behalf, when authorised by the board of the directors or the management
  • Advise, in conjunctions with the company’s solicitors, in respect of the legal matters, as required from time to time

Legal obligations of Company Secretary:

  • Filling of various documents/returns as required under the provisions of the Companies Law, including filing of copy of special resolutions on prescribed form within the specified time period
  • Proper maintenance of books and registers of the company as required under the provisions of the Companies Law
  • Monitor compliance on legal requirements of the allotment, issuance and transfer of share certificates, mortgages and charges
  • Issue notice and agenda of board meetings to every director of the company and to auditors
  • Record Minutes of the proceedings of the meetings of the directors
  • Implement policies formulated by the Directors
  • Manage correspondences between the company and relevant stake-holders
  • Make arrangement for the payment of the dividend within prescribed period as provided under the provisions of the Companies Law

Head of Legal Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)
  • Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies
  • Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
  • Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues
  • Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust
  • Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights
  • Manage complex matters with multiple stakeholders
  • Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of alterations in legislation and to alert management on changes

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law.

  • 8 years’ working experience as a Legal Practitioner with 3 – 5 years’ proven experience as a compliance officer.
  • Proven experience as a Company Secretary and Legal Counsel in business environment.

Job Summary & Purpose

  • Bakery assistants assist bakers and pastry chefs by serving customers at counters where baked goods are sold. Their responsibilities include greeting customers, providing advice, taking orders, and packaging baked goods. They may also be required to ensure items on display are continually restocked.


  • Creating a welcoming and positive customer experience at the bakery counter.
  • Advising customers on baked goods selection and taking orders.
  • Weighing, pricing, and packaging purchased items, as well as processing payments.
  • Managing the baking ingredients inventory and requesting the purchase of stock.
  • Tracking ingredient expiry dates and arranging their use accordingly.
  • Monitoring the visual appeal and the availability of baked goods on display.
  • Reporting low baked goods stock to the Baker in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy baked goods counter and performing other duties on request.
  • Cleaning the kitchen after business hours and preparing it for the next day.

Bakery Assistant Requirements

  • SSCE / OND
  • Vocational training or baking coursework would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in serving customers in a bakery environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in weighing, pricing, packaging, and processing payments of baked goods.
  • Ability to manage ingredient inventories and to track expiry dates.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to create visually appealing displays of baked goods.
