The Naira redesign program of the former president Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has been defended.
According to Buhari, Nigeria’s 2023 election was more transparent thanks to a policy put in place by a past governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
The former president insisted that people with excessive wealth were the ones who objected to the policy.
The former president stated, “The scarcity of money was not intentionally done to punish Nigerians,” under the book’s twelfth chapter.

“The naira redesign policy undoubtedly contributed to more transparent elections.” Those with excessive wealth were the ones who struggled with it.
“After it was claimed that the new notes were unavailable, one bank chairman was found to have almost N260 million. Have I challenged the Supreme Court on this matter? No, I was unable to do so.
A few APC governors appeared in court. I declined to use my own standards to evaluate others.
