The Edo State Investment Promotion Office (ESIPO) is an agency of the Edo State Government, dedicated to driving economic growth through the attraction and facilitation of investments. Our mission is to create an investor-friendly environment, foster stakeholder engagement, and enhance the ease of doing business in Edo State.

We are currently seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals to join our dynamic team in the following positions:

Position 1: Investment Promotion Officer – Skills and Labour (Ease of Doing Business Reforms)

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

Facilitate the implementation of ESIPO’s mandate concerning skills and labour reforms.

Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline labour market regulations and promote workforce development.

Drive investment initiatives that align with Edo State’s strategic economic objectives.

Requirements:

Minimum of a second-class lower degree.

Completion of NYSC or a valid exemption letter.

At least 10 years of post-graduate experience in a relevant field.

Strong computer literacy and proficiency with technology.

Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork skills.

Core competencies include Adaptability, Professionalism, Diversity & Inclusion, Customer Focus, and Effective Communication.

Must be below 40 years of age by December 31, 2024.

Salary: GL 12/9
