The President’s Special Advisor on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, issued a statement on Monday stating that the fired chief executives must turn over their positions to the next highest ranking official in their respective agencies while new chief executives are being appointed.
The presidency said by this directive of the president, their removal from office takes immediate effect.
Ngelale further stated that the action was in line with plans to reorganize and realign important Federal Government agencies in order to safeguard Nigerian consumers’ rights and establish a solid foundation for increased contributions to the country’s economy from important institutions that foster growth.
