1. Job Title: Staff Wells Engineer, CWI SPDC

What’s the Role?

As a Staff Wells Engineer, you will manage the design, planning, and execution of completion and well intervention operations. Your responsibilities will include cost estimation, metric tracking, AAR documentation, and fostering collaboration with asset teams.

Accountabilities

Project Design/Execution: Embed continuous improvement methodologies and utilize the Global Well Delivery Process (GWDP).

HSSE: Promote safety, sustainability, and compliance, while leading HSSE management for service provider contracts.

Regulatory: Ensure all permits and notifications are accurate and in place.

Team Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with subsurface, production, and facilities teams.

Operational Excellence: Supervise completion and well intervention activities to deliver on scope, safety, and efficiency.

Cost Monitoring: Maintain accurate cost tracking for all operations.

Mentorship: Guide junior colleagues in engineering design and operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline.

At least 8 years of experience in completions and well intervention operations.

IWCF/WIPC certification is an advantage.

Strong supervisory, analytical, and communication skills.

Willingness to work rotations to field locations.

What’s the Role?

Support the on-site supervision of drilling and completion operations in alignment with SPDC standards to achieve safe and efficient well delivery.

Accountabilities

Enforce HSE policies to achieve Goal Zero.

Maintain well control and ensure readiness for any emergency situations.

Deliver wells on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

Manage rig inventory, logistics, and contractor activities.

Identify performance improvement opportunities and implement them.

Prepare and review reports, including drilling and end-of-well documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline.

5-8 years of experience in well engineering and drilling activities.

IWCF certification is an advantage.

Strong interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills.

Willing to work rotations in remote field locations.
