Seoul National University Global Scholarship – Apply
Seoul National University (SNU) is thrilled to announce the call for applications for the SNU Global Scholarship (GS) for Fall 2024. This prestigious scholarship is designed for international students enrolled in graduate programs, providing an excellent opportunity to advance their academic pursuits in South Korea.
Benefits of SNU Scholarship
The Korean SNU Global Scholarship offers two main types of awards:
- Global Scholarship 1 (GS 1): This includes a full tuition waiver, a monthly stipend of KRW 1,200,000, and one-time airfare support for newly admitted students. Arrival airfare support is given to those arriving in Korea within 60 days before or after the scholarship announcement, while departure airfare support is for students graduating in February 2025.
- Global Scholarship 2 (GS 2): This provides a full tuition waiver.
Additionally, students can receive a tuition waiver for the Korean Language Special Program’s evening class for one session, either in Fall 2024 or Summer 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the GS scholarship, applicants must be international students enrolled or planning to enroll in a graduate program at SNU, with at least one regular semester remaining in their program. Students who have completed all required courses by September 2024 are not eligible.
Application Process
The application process is straightforward. Interested students must apply online through the mySNU portal (https://oia.snu.ac.kr/news/general-scholarship/5314) between June 28th, 10 AM, and July 7th, 11 PM, 2024 (KST). New students must create a mySNU account to proceed.
