Job Title: Inventory Account Officer
Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
Track and manage the company’s inventory, including maintaining records, conducting physical counts, and reconciling discrepancies.
Ensure accurate inventory levels by identifying and correcting errors and recommending levels based on sales forecasts and demand.
Properly classify, value, and account for inventory transactions under GAAP standards.
Minimize inventory costs through cost-saving measures such as vendor consolidation and optimization.
Prepare reports, conduct training, and support other departments as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience as an Inventory Account Officer.
Strong understanding of inventory accounting principles.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
