Job Title: Account Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure strict compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and all local regulatory requirements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Timeliness and accuracy of financial reports.
  • Budget variance percentage.
  • Audit and regulatory compliance.
  • Cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Team performance and development milestones.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
  • Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in building and finishing industries is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
