Famous Nigerian musician Tiwa Savage has sued Davido for allegedly threatening to assault her and cause her serious bodily injury.

Tiwa said in the January 9, 2024, appeal sent to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police that Davido had threatened to “f-ck me up.”

She stated that she felt her rights to life, privacy, and dignity were directly threatened by Davido.

I’m writing to let you know about a troubling circumstance that involves David Adeleke, Tiwatope Omolara Savage, and me.

“I shared a photo of Sophia Momodu and myself on my Instagram Story on December 23rd.

“And Mr. David Adeleke sent a message to my manager, who is a member of his management team, telling him that I should never speak to him and that I was making fun of him and calling him names that were really hurtful, nasty, and disparaging.

The things that happened that day have prompted a flurry of calls from people we know in common, asking me what I did to make him angry that I decided to keep in touch with Sophia Momodu, the mother of his daughter Imade, with whom he is having problems.

“Therefore, I would like to file this complaint and declare that I want the Nigerian Police Force to hold Mr. David Adeleke accountable if anything unfortunate or harmful were to happen to me or a member of my family.”
