We are currently recruiting for the following positions:


Job Title: Tax Manager

Location: Nigeria
Job Type: Full-time

Overview:
We are seeking a Tax Manager to lead our tax operations, ensuring full regulatory compliance and maximizing tax efficiency for both our firm and clients. This individual will oversee complex engagements, mentor the tax team, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver bespoke tax solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance:

  • Oversee timely and accurate submission of VAT/GST, payroll, and corporate tax filings.
  • Monitor legislative updates and ensure firm-wide compliance.

Tax Strategy:

  • Craft innovative tax strategies to reduce liabilities and boost tax efficiency.
  • Collaborate with clients to design tax plans aligned with business goals.

Client Services:

  • Offer expert guidance on complex tax issues.
  • Represent clients during audits and disputes with tax authorities.

Leadership & Development:

  • Guide and develop the tax team, ensuring best practices and regulatory updates are followed.

Audit & Risk:

  • Handle tax audit preparation and regulatory engagement.
  • Proactively identify and reduce tax-related risks.

Collaboration:

  • Partner with finance teams to align tax strategies with overall budgeting.
  • Strengthen relationships with clients and regulators.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (minimum Second Class Upper).
  • 4–6 years’ tax consultancy experience.
  • CITN, ICAN, or ACCA certifications preferred.
  • Big 4 experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of VAT/GST and payroll compliance.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
