We are currently hiring for the following position:

Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and anomalies in accounting records.
• Ensure proper and accurate documentation of revenue and expenditure.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights on revenue and spending patterns, financial obligations, and future income forecasts.
• Generate product-by-product analysis reports for managerial use.
• Implement credit control measures and oversee debtor management.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies such as LIRS, FIRS, PAYE, and Pension authorities.
• Daily recording of accounting transactions.
• Create and post invoices for both cash and credit sales.
• Perform general ledger functions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare financial forecasts and budgets.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and resolve bank-related issues, including discrepancies and charges.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 1 – 4 years of relevant work experience.

Job Title: Sales Associate
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Support the supervision of floor staff and security personnel.
• Promote and improve sales performance in your assigned section.
• Ensure timely and appropriate display of products in your assigned area.
• Compile and submit a restocking list when stock levels are insufficient for at least two weeks of sales.
• Report any products within six weeks of expiration on your assigned shelf.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by your Supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: SSCE / GCE / NECO.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Must reside in or close to Lekki and its surroundings.

• Ensure accurate sales entries using the provided POS software.
• Double-check that scanned items match the items being packaged.
• Correctly report sales with clear segregation of cash, cheques, and other approved payment methods.
• Hand over daily sales proceeds to the manager or on-duty accountant.
• Scan items and inform customers of prices.
• Keep the checkout area clean and organized.
• Apply basic math and numeric skills efficiently.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Deliver excellent customer service with a keen eye for detail.
• Handle conflicts and resolve issues professionally.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by your Supervisor.

Requirements

• NCE / OND / B.Sc in a relevant field.
