Job Title: Warehouse Officer

Job Brief
As a Warehouse Officer, you will support inventory management, coordinate shipments, and ensure a well-organized warehouse environment. Your role includes facilitating efficient warehouse operations, from receiving shipments to dispatching goods.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify waybills, and update inventory records.
- Inspect goods for damages or discrepancies and report issues to the warehouse manager.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Prepare goods for storage or shipment with proper labeling and categorization.
- Organize warehouse space efficiently for optimal storage and accessibility.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and on time.
- Supervise loading and unloading while ensuring adherence to safety guidelines.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and adhere to safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels, report shortages or excesses, and assist in replenishment.
- Document inventory movements and adjustments in the management system.
- Prepare shipping documents and coordinate with logistics providers.
- Conduct safety inspections and report equipment issues.
- Assist in training new staff on warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Follow company policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- NCE, OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in any field (additional training in logistics or supply chain is a plus).
- Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics is an advantage but not required.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, and manual tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Basic computer skills, including inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
- Good communication skills and teamwork ability.
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and organization.
Preferred Location: Candidates residing in Bariga, Shomolu, Gbagada, Oworonshoki, and Oshodi are strongly encouraged to apply.
