Job Title: Engineering Student Intern (SIWES)

Location: Onne, Rivers
Department: Maintenance

Description

• Learn various staff functions, including operations, management perspectives, company policies, and practices impacting each phase of the business.
• Gain knowledge of Tenaris business, systems, and processes through diverse learning activities (e-learnings, classrooms, MOOCs, OJT, and manual operations).
• Analyze information and prepare various deliverables such as reports and process documentation.
• Acquire professional experience, build industry contacts, and begin developing a professional network.
• Adhere to Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Safeguard assigned facilities, equipment, and resources against damage, theft, or misuse.

Requirements

• Candidate should have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 out of 5.
• Must be an Engineering student in a University or Polytechnic seeking SIWES placement.

Job Title: Health and Safety Technician

Location: Onne, Rivers
Department: Health, Safety & Environment
Duration: Fixed-term, 12 months

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with relevant departments in the systematic identification, assessment, and control of hazards and risks.
• Support the implementation of Company HESA procedures, ensuring proper issuance, updates, and periodic reporting.
• Analyze statistics, trends, and action plans, recommending corrective measures when necessary.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of HESA training programs.
• Actively participate in company HESA committees and meetings.
• Assist clients and stakeholders by analyzing requirements and implementing changes when needed.
• Ensure proper use of company IT tools to guarantee compliance and accuracy.
• Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, while adhering to applicable laws and regulations.
• Protect company facilities, equipment, and resources from damage, theft, or misuse.

Attributes of Desired Candidate

• First degree in Engineering or Physical Science–related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ cognate experience in HSE discipline.
• Strong knowledge of HSE laws, regulatory requirements, and standards.
• Possession of HSE ISO 14001 and 45001 audit qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Skilled in HSE inspections, incident investigation, emergency management, permit-to-work administration, risk assessment, and HSE training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and SAP.
• Candidates with ISPON certification (HSE Level 1, 2, 3), NEBOSH, or IOSH will have an added advantage.
