Job Description

A cosmetics store is seeking a creative, organized, and trend-aware Content Creator / Social Media Manager to help grow our online community and bring our brand story to life across all digital platforms.

The Content Creator / Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing the brand’s online presence—creating high-quality visual and written content, engaging audiences, and driving brand awareness, customer loyalty, and sales.

Responsibilities

The Social Media Manager / Content Creator will:

  • Develop, execute, and manage the social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) to strengthen the brand, engage customers, and increase foot traffic and online sales.
  • Create high-quality visual and written content (photos, videos, reels, stories, captions) that aligns with our beauty, skincare, and makeup brand voice.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, store teams, and product teams to highlight new launches, promotions, events, tutorials, and customer testimonials.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions) and use data insights to optimize content.
  • Stay updated on trends in beauty, social media, and the Nigerian/African market while proposing creative ideas for fresh content.
  • Manage community engagement by responding to comments/messages, moderating conversations, and building relationships with ambassadors and influencers.
  • Coordinate with external creators/influencers when needed.
  • Design and implement a monthly social media content calendar.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience (2–4 years or more) managing social media and content for a brand (preferably in retail, beauty, or fashion).
  • Strong content creation portfolio showcasing social posts, videos, and preferably beauty/cosmetics work.
  • Excellent visual storytelling skills: photography, video shooting, and editing.
  • Good writing skills for captions, blogs, and brand messaging.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, trends (TikTok/Reels/Shorts), algorithms, hashtags, and engagement techniques.

Salary

N150,000 monthly.

You will create engaging photo, video, and written content that promotes our products, strengthens brand awareness, and connects with our audience across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality, engaging content (photos, videos, reels, graphics) for social media, website, and marketing campaigns.
  • Develop creative ideas for product promotions, tutorials, influencer collaborations, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Manage and grow the brand’s presence across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).

  • Proven track record of achieving sales and operational targets.
  • Knowledge of beauty and skincare products is compulsory.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and inventory management tools.
  • Must reside within Lekki, Victoria Island, Satellite, Festac, Surulere, or Ago.

Salary

N150,000 – N200,000 monthly.
