Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited (formerly Moody International Nigeria Limited) was established in 1996 as a partnership between Moody International Group and Nigerian investors. We are recruiting qualified candidates to fill the following positions:
Job Title: Instrument Maintenance Technician II
Location: Offshore, Nigeria
Job Type: Contracts
Job Nature: Standard
Category: Engineering
Main Function
Installs and maintains instrument equipment in compliance with all rules and practices. Tests and repairs instrumentation systems used in production equipment to ensure they meet performance and quality standards. Evaluates instruments, plans repairs, and documents findings.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Plan and oversee all activities in line with regulations, standards, and procedures, emphasizing health, safety, and the environment.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and project teams.
Provide input and review control specifications and work practices.
Ensure timely completion of tasks per the Maintenance Program.
Develop personal and team technical skills and attend or instruct technical meetings.
Communicate effectively about control issues, including safety, training, and materials.
Support work prioritization to maximize effectiveness.
Provide technical support for maintenance and troubleshooting.
Generate Management of Change (MOCs) requests and conduct installation inspections.
Monitor new installations and recommend upgrades as necessary.
Act as a stand-in for the Instrument Lead when needed.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
Associate degree, ideally with additional technical school courses.
Experience maintaining Instruments and Controls in a processing or offshore production plant.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with oil and gas facility regulations.
Proficiency in administrative, safety, and technical training requirements.
General competency in Operations Integrity Critical standards.
Computing skills and strong troubleshooting abilities.
Attitudes and Behavior:
Safety-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and analytical problem-solving capabilities.

Job Title: Field Operator II
Location: Offshore, Nigeria

Tasks and Responsibilities
Ensure daily objectives, safety, and housekeeping standards are met.
Actively participate in toolbox and safety meetings.
Conduct continuous surveillance of wells and equipment for efficiency and safety.
Perform maintenance tasks and report equipment status.
Maintain detailed logs of operational events and abnormalities.
Take samples for analysis and assist in Wellwork operations when necessary.
Ensure proper diagnostics before requesting interventions.
Job Requirements
Secondary education with experience as a Field Technician.
Strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
Comprehensive knowledge of pipeline operations, emergency preparedness, and safety management tools.

Job Title: Marine Engineer III

Main Functions

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marine or Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Marine Engineer on motor tankers or steam vessels.
Extensive knowledge of design standards and safety regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.

Job Purpose & Accountabilities
Support the planning and risk lead to manage project schedules and ensure timely delivery. Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders to validate progress and evaluate risks.

Conduct progress updates, trend analysis, and risk evaluations.
Ensure proper understanding of schedule drivers among stakeholders.
Support implementation of an Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) process.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience, with 5 years in a similar role in oil and gas.
Proficiency in Primavera, PowerBI, and planning tools.
Membership in relevant professional bodies is required.
