Applications are now open for the Digital Skills for Entrepreneurs (DSE) course in Abuja, Kano, Rivers, and Lagos.
The Digital Skills for Entrepreneurs (DSE) program is more than just a training—it serves as a gateway to digital transformation for women and youth-led businesses across Nigeria.
Accredited by NITDA, this 8-week hybrid course equips entrepreneurs with hands-on, practical digital skills in:
- Digital Marketing
- E-commerce
- Social Media Management
- Entrepreneurial Mindset in a Digital Economy
- Supply Chain and Logistics
- Financial Management
- Mobilising Resources, Talents, Technology, and Partnerships — and more.
Participants will also develop a Digital Transformation Roadmap tailored to their business, explore innovative models such as dropshipping and affiliate marketing, and gain practical experience using real-world tools.
Why It Matters
MSMEs account for 96% of Nigerian businesses and almost 75% of employment, yet many—especially those led by women—lack the digital capabilities needed to scale. With a national goal of achieving 95% digital literacy by 2030, DSE provides a timely and inclusive solution to help bridge this gap.
Who Can Apply?
This opportunity is open to women, youth, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) leading registered businesses that have been in operation for at least three years. The program is inclusive, accessible, and focused on practical action.
The Impact
DSE empowers participants to increase revenue, create jobs, and play an active role in the digital economy. It contributes directly to Nigeria’s National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy (NDEPS) goals of 70% digital literacy by 2027 and 95% by 2030, under the leadership of NITDA Nigeria.
Most importantly, the program helps close the gender digital divide and supports a more inclusive economic transformation across the country.
