Job Description

The Call Centre Representative will serve as the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, complaints, and service requests with professionalism and efficiency. The role requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of customer service principles to ensure a positive experience for every caller.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction

  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls promptly
  • Respond to customer inquiries, provide accurate information, and resolve issues with a focus on first-call resolution
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or team lead when necessary
  • Maintain a polite, empathetic, and professional tone at all times

Data Management & Reporting

  • Accurately document all customer interactions, including inquiries, comments, and complaints
  • Update and maintain customer records in the company database
  • Prepare and submit daily or weekly reports on call volumes, service issues, and customer feedback

Product & Service Knowledge

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s products, services, and policies
  • Stay informed of changes or new offerings
  • Proactively identify customer needs and recommend suitable products or services

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent
  • Prior experience in a call centre or customer service role is an added advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset
  • Proficiency in call centre software and CRM systems
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
