PICADAILYS further operates a secure banking/wallet service that enables users to create virtual accounts, fund wallets, transfer funds, convert currencies, and access virtual USD cards and prepaid cards.

Job Title: Compliance Officer

Location: Rivers

Job Summary

Picadailys is seeking a vigilant and detail-focused Compliance Officer to protect company operations by ensuring strict compliance with Nigerian fintech and data protection regulations.

The successful candidate will proactively identify and manage compliance risks for our gamified rewards platform, applying strong local regulatory expertise to maintain thorough oversight and operational integrity across all financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Monitoring & Implementation: Monitor, interpret, and implement compliance requirements from key regulatory bodies, including CBN, SEC, NITDA, NDPR, and relevant industry authorities.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct regular compliance risk assessments across all business units (product, finance, and marketing) and develop strong mitigation controls.
  • Policy Development: Draft, review, update, and circulate internal compliance policies, procedures, and training materials covering Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know-Your-Customer (KYC), and Data Protection (NDPR).
  • AML/KYC Management: Supervise the implementation and continuous improvement of effective AML and KYC frameworks critical to a fintech-enabled platform.
  • Reporting & Auditing: Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and serve as the main liaison during internal and external compliance audits.
  • Training & Awareness: Deliver mandatory compliance training sessions to embed a strong culture of regulatory adherence across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of dedicated Compliance, Legal, or Regulatory experience, preferably within the Nigerian fintech, banking, or payments sector.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian fintech regulations, including CBN guidelines, NDPR (Data Protection), and AML/CFT laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective KYC and AML frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical skills, high integrity, and strong attention to detail.
  • Relevant professional certification such as ACAMS, CFE, or similar is highly preferred.

  • Maintain accurate, confidential employee records, administrative files, and asset registers.

Requirements
