Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

• Be aged between 18 and 30
• Have experience in volunteering or the non-profit sector
• Show commitment to returning and working in their home country for at least 18 months post-graduation
• Provide evidence of low household income
• Have no close family living permanently in Germany
• Not have stayed in Germany for more than 18 months prior to applying
• Have a GPA equivalent to at least 2.0 in the German system
• Apply before starting university or be enrolled in 1st to 3rd semester (in Germany or abroad)
• Be applying for a Master’s degree either before or shortly after completing a Bachelor’s

Scholarship Benefits
