1. Partnership and Business Development Manager

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Partnership and Business Development Manager to lead the strategic expansion and launch of a mobile application. This position is key to achieving our ambitious goal of 5 million downloads within the first month of launch.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in launching software products, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving rapid user acquisition. You will be responsible for crafting and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy to enhance app adoption and market reach.

Responsibilities

Strategic Partnerships & Growth

  • Develop and implement a robust partnership strategy to drive 5 million app downloads within three months.
  • Identify, engage, and establish collaborations with key partners such as influencers, mobile platforms, and relevant businesses.
  • Negotiate and formalize partnership agreements that create mutual value.
  • Execute pre- and post-launch initiatives to boost user acquisition and engagement.

Mobile App Launch & User Acquisition

  • Oversee and execute the mobile app’s launch, ensuring a strong market entry.
  • Leverage experience in launching at least three products to develop a high-impact launch plan.
  • Implement innovative user acquisition strategies to reach the 5-million-download target in one month.
  • Analyze app performance metrics and refine strategies for continuous user growth and retention.

Business Development & Client Relations

  • Identify and engage potential business clients to expand the platform’s ecosystem.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at partner and client organizations.
  • Deliver persuasive product presentations and demonstrations.
  • Negotiate and close deals that benefit both parties.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing support and account management.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to downloads, engagement, and partnerships.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management.
  • Utilize CRM and analytics tools to manage partnership activities and customer data.
  • Identify and address performance gaps with corrective strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 5 years of experience in partnership development and business development, with a focus on mobile applications.
  • Proven track record of launching at least two software products successfully.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive millions of app downloads.
  • Strong understanding of mobile application ecosystems and user acquisition tactics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with CRM and analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in mobile app launch strategies.
