We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

Job Title: Station Account Officer

Job Description:

Responsible for overseeing sales transactions and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping at the station.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the availability of funds for daily operational expenses and emergencies.
Maintain financial records to enable smooth disbursement, reconciliation, and replenishment of funds.
Process expense retirement ledgers to ensure accountability for all cash advances.
Create and manage records of cash requests and disbursements.
Reconcile received cash with expenses recorded in the petty cash book.
Process payments for accounts and issue receipts.
Maintain accurate records of all income and expenses and reconcile them regularly.
Collect cash from the bank for safekeeping before reimbursements.
File all documents related to cash payments and collections.
Respond to inquiries regarding approvals, payment limits, and retirement deadlines.
Prepare daily and weekly collection and payment summary reports for the station supervisor.

Requirements:

Minimum of HND/BSc in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
At least one (1) year of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Strong integrity, commitment, and self-motivation.
Completion of the mandatory NYSC program.
