The Federal Polytechnic, Kaltungo, a federal government-owned institution located in Gombe State, North-Eastern Nigeria, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:

1. Principal Lecturer (Chemistry)

Discipline: Science Laboratory Technology
Location: Kaltungo, Gombe

Requirements:

Doctorate Degree in Chemistry or relevant discipline with at least 9 years’ teaching/research or industrial experience.

OR Master’s Degree in Chemistry or relevant discipline with at least 12 years’ teaching/research or industrial experience.

Publications: At least five conference/seminar papers, three journal articles, or contributions to two chapters in standard textbooks (published by 2021 or earlier).

At least one year as a substantive Senior Lecturer in a recognized Polytechnic or similar TVET institution.

Membership of a relevant professional body and evidence of community service.

Salary Scale: CONPCASS 08

2. Assistant Chief Programme Analyst (ICT)

Location: Kaltungo, Gombe

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower) in Computer Science with at least 15 years of post-qualification experience.

OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science with at least 9 years’ post-qualification experience.

Membership of a relevant professional body is mandatory.

Salary Scale: CONTEDISS 13

3. Lecturer I (Animal Health and Production)

Location: Kaltungo, Gombe

Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Animal Health/Production with at least 6 years’ teaching/research experience and two journal publications.

OR Doctorate Degree in a relevant discipline with at least 3 years’ teaching/research experience and two journal publications.

At least one year as a substantive Lecturer II in a recognized Polytechnic or TVET institution.

Membership of a relevant professional body is required.

Salary Scale: CONPCASS 05

4. Principal Technologist (Science Laboratory Technology)

Location: Kaltungo, Gombe

Requirements:

Relevant qualifications in Science Laboratory Technology.

Salary Scale: CONPCASS 05

5. Senior Lecturer (Animal Health and Production)

Location: Kaltungo, Gombe

Requirements:

Doctorate Degree in a relevant field with at least 6 years’ teaching/research experience.

OR Master’s Degree with at least 9 years’ experience.

Publications: Minimum of three conference/seminar papers, three journal articles, or two chapters in a standard textbook (published by 2021 or earlier).

At least one year as a substantive Lecturer I in a recognized Polytechnic or TVET institution.

Membership of a professional body is required.

Salary Scale: CONPCASS 07
