We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Auditor / Accountant

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract

General Summary

  • Auditor/Accountant will provide audit and inventory reconciliation services to maintain accurate records of port and warehouse activities. S/he must have experience in Audit and Inventory Reconciliation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical verification of inventory and weekly stock counts across the various warehouses.
  • Obtain and review inventory records and reports including waybills, goods received notes, intake and dispatch records, reconciliation reports, etc.
  • Reconcile discrepancies and exceptions noted during the inventory verification and count and review of records.
  • Observe and ensure proper storage/stacking of raw materials in a manner that allows for counting and ensures proper preservation of goods.
  • Provide regular updates to Clients, especially regarding cases of exceptions and variances.
  • Attend inventory reconciliation meetings with the Client, as mandated by the Client.
  • Work together with the clearing agents, external consultants, and external auditors to perform a bi-annual physical verification and stock count exercise.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in audit and inventory reconciliation services.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent analytic abilities and attention to detail.

Job Title: Port Services Coordinator (Supply Chain / Logistics)

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract

General Summary

  • The Port Services Coordinator will monitor port activities leading up to the arrival of all new shipments and the discharge of raw materials from the vessels to the warehouses.
  • S/he must have experience in port monitoring services, Warehouse Management, and inventory management.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the arrival of each vessel, obtaining details about the vessel and the number of raw materials received.
  • Work in close collaboration with the authorized port clearing agents and relevant staff of the port authority.
  • Documenting all information relating to the quantity of the raw materials discharged from each vessel and the number of raw materials transported to various warehouses and transmitting all gathered information to the Project Management Team.
  • Monitor all raw material deliveries to various warehouses, ensuring optimal stacking patterns.
  • Ensure the adequacy of the storage facilities and make observations about lighting conditions and dryness of storage space to ensure the raw materials do not encounter water or any form of moisture.
  • Ensure the physical safety of the inventory and formulate strategies to guard against theft and physical damage.
  • Maintain adequate documentation of all inbound and outbound movement of raw materials and provide adequate supporting documents such as Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and corresponding waybill documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences. An advanced Degree in Supply Chain Management is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Warehouse Management with port monitoring services and inventory management services experience.
  • Relevant Supply Chain and Logistics Certifications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent people management and coordination skills.

Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract

General Summary

  • The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all warehousing operations in the assigned geopolitical zone and providing timely reports to the Project Management Team.
  • S/he will manage all end-to-end warehouse operations including ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of all items stored in the warehouse.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor minimum stock levels and reorder quantity taking the lead time of each item into consideration.
  • Ensure adequate and timely stock accounting records are maintained for stock receipts and issuance.
  • Develop and maintain best practices in inventory control and management processes at the assigned warehouse.
  • Ensure the rule of First-in-first-out is strictly adhered to.
  • Develop an optimal warehouse layout and continually review layout, space utilization, and material placement.
  • Ensure regular stock count exercises are performed and all discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Promote good housekeeping practices in the warehouse.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences. An advanced degree in Supply Chain Management is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, or a similar position.
  • Notable experience in inventory management on a large scale.
  • Familiarity with best practices in a warehouse environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent people management and coordination skills.

Job Title: Storekeeper

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract

General Summary

  • The Storekeeper is responsible for the efficient management of all inventories stored in various warehouses from the period of delivery from the ports to the period the raw materials are transported from the warehouse by the representatives of the off-takers.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor all raw material deliveries to various warehouses, ensuring optimal stacking patterns.
  • Ensure the adequacy of the storage facilities and make observations about lighting conditions and dryness of storage space to ensure the raw materials do not come in contact with water or any form of moisture.
  • Ensure the physical safety of the inventory and formulate strategies to guard against theft and physical damage.
  • Maintain adequate documentation of all inbound and outbound movement of raw materials and provide adequate supporting documents such as Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and corresponding waybill documentation.
  • Validate all release orders and confirm the identity of the offtakers’ representatives before releasing the raw materials for onward transmission to the blending plants.
  • Report all information relating to warehouse activities to Project Management Team.
  • Documenting all details pertaining to the dispatch of raw materials from the warehouse such as date, release numbers, transporters, blending plant, truck number, name of driver, waybill number, GDN number, quantity dispatched (both in MT and Bags), destination and any other additional remarks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or any other related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar field.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good time management skills.
